Precise selection of components and materials

360° degree view of the pump

There are many things to consider when designing gear pumps. Even though the pumps usually have only two moving parts, namely the gears, it is important to keep an eye not only on the pump as individual components in the process, but also on the complete pump environment.

It is not uncommon for upstream or downstream units to have a negative impact on pump performance. The input of additional heat, pressure losses or vibrations are just a few examples that can impair performance.

We have a high engineering density, with concentrated know-how and over 35 years of experience in the field of gear pumps. Our pumps are subject to the strictest quality controls and the highest requirements. We always try to get a 360° view in the design to offer the best pump for the application.

Whether liquid sulfur, polymers or additives, every process is carefully and thoroughly analyzed by us. Special attention is paid to the matching of materials and a narrow tolerance range. Only in this way can the pumps achieve good efficiency and operate reliably in even the most demanding processes.

One piece quality

We set the highest quality and standards for our core components and do not compromise. All Witte pump housings, shafts, bearings and covers are generally manufactured from the full block or strand, unlike assemblies from other suppliers. As a result, there is no risk of inclusions or quality degradation that can occur during manufacturing in the casting process.
