WITTE PUMPS & TECHNOLOGY GmbH specialises in the construction of gear pumps for use with particularly demanding media. For this reason, we included components made of ceramic materials in our portfolio years ago.
- Pump ceramic parts such as bearings, gears, housings and covers
- Pump ceramic parts for temperatures up to max. 500 °C in combination with a magnetic coupling.
Technical ceramics such as SiC or zirconium oxide have excellent properties and high resistance to many chemicals. We do not only offer ceramic shafts and bearings for our own series, but can also offer high-quality ceramic shafts and bearings for many series of other manufacturers. Service lives can thus be significantly increased and maintenance intervals extended, while maintaining a manageable investment volume.
Areas of application for our pump ceramic parts
For WITTE gear pumps, ceramic components are used in particularly demanding processes. These can be critical media or media that are extremely corrosive or abrasive. The good tribiological properties of ceramics are particularly suitable for the manufacture of bearings or shafts. Maximum resistance to most chemicals guarantees safe and long-lasting pump operation.
