High Temperature Pumps

High-temperature pumps are manufactured at WITTE PUMPS & TECHNOLOGY GmbH from a wide variety of material combinations. Ceramic materials are mainly used. For example, bearings and gears can be made of SiC or zirconium oxide. Housings can also be made of ceramic materials. Here, however, it is not possible to fall back on the classic design because, for example, threaded holes would not have the strength as would be the case in steel housings.

  • High temperature pumps for temperatures up to max. 500 °C in combination with a magnetic coupling.
High temperature pumps are in most cases special pumps specially designed for the needs of customers. In addition to the high temperatures, special properties of the medium are often added. These can be corrosive or abrasive, for example.

High temperature pumps as special construction

We have already built pumps that could be used for temperatures up to 550 °C. This is an all-ceramic version that was used to pump a brine.

High-temperature pumps for the chemical industry

In addition to standard chemical pumps, we also supply special pumps according to special customer requirements. We take over the complete engineering as well as the research and development work. We can also carry out test runs at real operating points on our in-house test bench.

We have already realized special chemical pumps according to customer requirements in a wide variety of designs. For example, ceramic pumps for pumping high-temperature brine that operates at temperatures above 500 °C. The pumps are also available in a variety of other versions. Pumps for extreme design pressures up to 575 bar are also part of our portfolio.
